British Army Dirigible (steerable airship) No.1 'Nulli Secundus' makes its first flight at Farnborough.

10 October
Nulli Secundus has its envelope split at its Crystal Palace mooring to prevent further damage from being sustained in high winds. The remains are returned to Farnborough where they are rebuilt into Nulli Secundus II.
